Welcome to Marilyn’s Musings Apparel Decoration & Design Website. I am Marilyn Lazarz and enjoy doing embroidery, sublimation and heat press applied transfers to apparel: T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Jackets, Caps, Aprons and miscellaneous items, i.e., Christmas Stockings, Tote Bags, Towels, Blanket Throws, Pillow Covers, etc. Also, since I now have a heat press, I can also decorate hard items: coffee mugs, key chains, small signs, earrings & Christmas ornaments.

I specialize in small orders but I can also do larger orders if needed. I would love to decorate apparel for any business, school, group, sports team, club, family or individual who wants to market their logo or special design. Also, my website offers a variety of catalogs that offer you apparel and miscellaneous item choices for your decorating project. All jobs will be done professionally to your specifications and in a timely manner. a

Embroidery

Embroidery is the art of stitching different colored threads onto fabric with your logo and/or design.

Embroidery requires logos and/or designs to be digitized.

Embroidery is a long term decorating process that will last the life of the apparel. No special washing instructions are required.

Sublimation

Sublimation infuses color into the fabric with your logo and/or design.

Fabric needs to be at least 65% polyester and ideally white or pastel color.

Darker colored, heather shirts with at least 65% polyester can be bleached and have sublimated design infused into bleached area.

All sublimated logos and/or designs are created in-house.

Sublimation will last the lifetime of the apparel. No special washing instructions required.

Heat Press Applied Transfers

Transfers are applied to the fabric with a heat press.

Fabric can be any color and almost any type of material.

Transfers can be one color or many colors and also vary in type of transfer. For example, some can be like embroidered patches, some with texture of screen printing, others are smooth to the touch or textured with a 3D effect.

Transfers can be ordered or some can be created in-house depending on what is needed for decorating project.

Special washing instructions are required for longer lasting wear of the garment. If washed correctly, transfers are supposed to last for at least 50 wash cycles.
